Our suggestion

There is a relatively small amount of farming related to this species. The future of oyster farming depends on whether or not a disease-resistant strain is produced through genetic selection. Until then this oyster variety is only farmed to a limited extent. fish for tomorrow suggests you Eat in Moderation. We do not consider it to be over exploited however we cannot say it is an entirely sustainable option due to the implications of farming and importation.
